Break out the cameras! The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is now allowing non-flash photography of the interior galleries as well as the lush, tropical courtyard.
From their website:
Use of mobile devices for data is permitted throughout the Museum. We encourage dialogue in the galleries, but please be courteous to others: if you need to talk on your cell phone, please remain in the entrance area or outside the Museum.
Non-flash photography and video recording are permitted throughout the Museum. Please be considerate of others when taking photos. The use of tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks is not permitted. No professional photo shoots for personal or commercial use or large group photos is allowed.
The first time I visited was when the new wing opened three years ago, and I won their Instagram photo contest with this photo.
If you've never been, the ISG Museum is a hidden gem in Boston and is worth the visit!
Thank you to @IgersBoston and @GardnerMuseum for the invitation!
